Christmas Day

My big project this year was to make pajama pants for everyone. They're far from perfect but it was fun and kept me busy when Colin worked late nights.

We started with our stockings, and Xander loved looking in his stocking, pulling up little surprises. Then we made breakfast; waffles with whipped cream and strawberry jam, bacon, sausage. It was delicious. Once we had filled our stomachs we took a look under the Christmas tree.

Xander got his own set of tools, just like Handy Manny

Christmas morning was fun. We all got fun presents and had a good time. The best part was watching Xander get excited about all his presents! The funny part, I got a nice waffle maker (one that makes Swedish waffles), after I'd made regular Belgian waffles. The best present me and Colin got was a date night, dinner, hotel and babysitting included. We went over to Colin's dad later in the afternoon and finished the day with a traditional Swedish Smorgasbord!

It was so great to be able to see your parents while they were out here. I bet that made for a wonderful Christmas... well, that AND a hotel night with free babysitters! :o) Cute jammie pants!
I love the fabric that you used.
