Colin's sister Jen invited us over for an early Thanksgiving dinner, with a deep-fried turkey a la Jason, Alton Brown style. It was very good, just like the rest of the food. And this is the set-up used to make it as safe as possible. Don't worry, there was a fire-extinguisher close by...

Mormor sent Alexander some new overalls, but they were a little too big. They'll definitely keep this little boy warm during the winter months.
Alexander had his 4 month doctor's appointment today. He's healthy and seems to be doing alright. Like we've both thought, we have a tall baby, he's 26.5 inches (67.3cm) long and weighs 14 lbs and 10.5 oz (6650g). He also got his shots today and is taking a well needed nap right now.
This Halloween we went down to grandma's house. Xander was a cute little dalmatian puppy, maybe one of the 101, and when grandma opened the door for his very first trick or treat, Xander starts screaming... Well, he got to eat and sleep and after that he felt much better. We went down to the trunk or treat and Xander got quite a few treats. After some soup down at the church, we went back to grandma's house for pictures with cousin Bailey. Aren't they cute together?
Of course he got a treat after a long day, even though he wasn't quite sure what to think of the tootsie roll.
