This and That

Last week I had an interview with the immigration office, we were nervous but it went very well. The other day I got a letter that welcomed me to the United States, and I should have my green card within a few weeks, yeah! I can now legally try out for American Idol, America's Next Top Model and So You Think You Can Dance, which one to do...

Yesterday we went to Primary Children's Medical Center to meet with a plastic surgeon about Alexander's head. He's got a flat spot on his right side and the doctor said that he's gonna need a helmet to help adjust that. So we'll be making a lot of trips to Salt Lake in the next couple of months, but I know that it'll be worth it. We'll also be doing some physical therapy for his neck, apparently his neck muscles on the left side are shorter than on the right (causing the flat head) so we're gonna work on that.

My husband is wonderful. On Tuesday he not only surprised me by cleaning both of our toilets, he also got me HSM 3 on dvd, which I watched later that night. It's awesome.

Had to post a picture of our favorite cougar, he's just so darn cute.

Mmmm....

Before

After

Sitting in the bath tub like a big boy, and he loves it, as long as I don't wash his hair...

Cougar Basketball

Alexander's first BYU Basketball game. He was ok during the first half, as long as he had something to eat (hot dog buns, cougar tails and puffed rice). After half-time, we went for short walks around the Mariott Center to keep him entertained, but he still lasted the whole game. We brought a bottle of formula for him, but that didn't work, so while we waited for crazy post-game traffic to slow down, I nursed him in the car and he fell asleep. We had a great time!

Final Score: BYU 94 Colorado State 60

Ice Cream and Shopping Carts

We went to Maceys for some grocery shopping and we got an ice cream cone so we could survive the hard work that laid ahead of us. Here's Xander, sitting like a big boy in the shopping cart, getting his first taste of ice cream.

Tooth Count

Xander loves to bite everything, and who wouldn't with so many teeth. Here's his tooth count
1st Bottom Tooth: December 6
2nd Bottom Tooth: December 14
1st Top Tooth: January 13
2nd Top Tooth: January 15
3rd Bottom Tooth: Sometime in the beginning of February
3rd Top Tooth: Shortly after the 3rd bottom tooth
4th Bottom Tooth: About a week ago
Yes, you counted right, that's seven teeth for my seven month old.

Mommy's Little Helper

Alexander is such a good helper for mommy. He loves to play in his walker while mommy cleans the kitchen, and here he got a hold of the broom, all by himself.

7 Months

For the first time, I forgot to take a picture of our lil' cougar on his monthly birthday, but here are some from around that time.

This is how you're supposed to drink your formula, he used his feet most of the time, except for when I got my camera. We're really working on getting him used to formula, and off of mommy... Any hints
