Happy Girl!

Sophia's such a fun and happy girl. She's a good baby and we love her. At her 6 month check-up she was 16 lbs 11 oz and 26 3/4 inches long. So she's a tall and not so chunky baby, and absolutely perfect. She got a billion shots (well, 4 plus an oral) and did really once she calmed down again. She now loves her food, other than green veggies and meat, but she's a good eater and doesn't complain too much.

She's such a girl and already feels the need to accessorize...

Xander Talk

I've decided that it's time to start writing down the funny things Xander says on a daily basis. He's got such a great imagination and he never stops talking.

We had all gotten in the truck to drive to church when Colin realized he forgot something and ran back inside for about a minute.
Xander: I miss my daddy so much!
Walking home from church that same day (Colin had to leave for work) we turn the corner to our street, Xander recognizes where we are.
Xander: I miss my house so much!

I was helping Xander read my Roots Canada shirt.
Mom: Do you know daddy's from Canada?
Xander: Yeah?
Mom: Where are you from?
Xander: Target!

Mom: Where does daddy work?
Xander: K-mart Smart

Mom: Should we eat burritos for lunch?
Xander: We can't.
Mom: Why not?
Xander: Auntie Kari took them!
