From Xander's second first birthday

Fall Leaves!

Xander Bander!

We went in for Xander's 15 month check-up today (almost a month late...). He's finally growing good again and is back up where they want him to be on the growth chart. Xander got the flu shot, and he's been a champ all day. Alexander is now 32 inches (81 cm) tall and weighs just under 22 lbs (10 kg). We're so grateful to have him in our family and love him very much.

Corn Maze and Pumpkins

We went to the corn maze today with cousin Bailey and some other kids from our ward. We had a good time, and Xander was a big boy and walked the whole way.

Learning to eat with a spoon is messy business...

Hospital

Alexander must like to scare his mom and dad. The other week we took him to the doctor because of some wheezing, and he sent us to the hospital where me and Xander got to spend the night. They did a chest x-ray, and yes, he had pneumonia. The breathing treatments worked really well and his oxygen levels stayed high all night so we got to go home the next day.

We now know why he goes to the hospital so much, he wants to follow in his morfar's footsteps and become a doctor. He's just starting his research early...
