The Zoo!

Last Saturday we took a family trip to the zoo with Colin's brother and his family. We all had a good time and Xander loved it. I had a good time other than twisting my ankle and falling hard while carrying Xander down to pet a snake... But I'm good and we did get to pet the snake, a lizard and the cutest little armadillo ever. Xander was all about touching the animals that he was allowed to, so I guess he's following in Mamma's footsteps and becoming quite the little explorer and scientist.

Baby Zuri was just adorable! And was apparently eating potatismos (mashed potatoes) if you asked Xander.

One Reason to Love Fall

Wish I could say they were from our garden but we didn't plant one, but we still get to enjoy plenty of homegrown goodies.

Picasso!

We have our own little Picasso on our hands. I though all of our pens and crayons had been put away but he managed to find a dry erase marker which he used to color himself. He was very proud of his masterpiece. Unfortunately since then, he's found another marker that got used as body and kitchen paint and a crayon that covered just about everything down stairs (including the tv and laptop).

Vattenfall!

When Adam and Emma where here we talked about going to Bridal Veil Falls but never got the chance. Ever since then, Xander's been talking about "vattenfall" (waterfall) and a couple of weeks ago we finally went. He loved seeing the water but not being in the freezing cold water.
