Wedding Cake

Colin's best friend got married a few weeks ago and I had the honor of making their wedding cake. It was a fun cake to make and I enjoyed making the fall colored leaves.

Disneyland Part 1

We had a great time at Disneyland. It was a first time for Sophia and Colin and I think they both loved it.

I was a little worried about how Xander would do with meeting the characters, he's always hid from characters in the past, but he loved it and told us he wanted to meet as many as he could.

Disneyland is tiring, this little girls slept through Pirates of the Caribbean. We did go on it again so she got to experience it, and both kids loved the ride.

She got called Princess Sophia all day at the park!

Disneyland has so many great shows, the first night we all stayed late for the Fantasmic! 

Sophia luckily fell asleep before the fire breathing dragon.

Airport Fieldtrip

We've had a lot of fun with joy school this year, and Xander's really enjoyed learning and being with his friends. Towards the end we were able to go to on multiple field trips, inlcuding one to UVU Aviation at the Provo Airport.

Legos and Jam

 Xander loves to play with Legos and here he is with his space ship. We had to take a picture so we can send in to the Lego magazine.

We got some strawberries on a great sale so we had to make some strawberry jam. It was messy but we had a blast!

Easter

 Easter weekend started with an egg hunt at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house. It's not so much hunt as it is pick up candy strewn all over the yard. The kids had a good time, even though they were both picky and walked right past some candy.

With 8:00 a.m. church, the Easter Bunny didn't make it to our house before church, but had left a note and some surprises when we came home.

The Easter Bunny left a few eggs and a note on our deck, the note led the kids upstairs to their room where Wreck it Ralph was waiting for them along with some Peeps.

Pies and cakes

 Mini-apple pies I made for my sister-in-law's baby shower.

My mother-in-law came over and together we made this garbage dump cake for her cub scouts. It was a lot of fun! (and those are chocolate rocks on the cake, they were awesome)

Bridal Veil Falls

We had a beautiful early spring this year, followed by a month of cold and rain, but we enjoyed the weather while it lasted. One day we drove up the canyon and walked to Bridal Veil Falls. It was beautiful and the boys even went for a hike up to the waterfall.
