We're having a baby!

Maybe not the clearest picture in the world but it's pretty clear that there are two lines on both tests! Merry Christmas everyone!

Bailey Brie is here!

I've become an aunt! On 12/12, around eight p.m. little Bailey was born. She's the cutest thing ever and we're so excited for Felice and Darrin!

Here's the new mommy with her little bundle of joy

Cougars in Las Vegas

When Colin found out that he had the same weekend off that BYU played in Las Vegas, our trip was being planned. We spent a great evening walking the strip and had a great dinner at my favorite Las Vegas restaurant, Planet Hollywood. Tack mormor och morfar for maten =)

After an American version of Bruschetta, Colin had a big plate of steak fajitas.

While I enjoyed honey glazed salmon, mmm.

After a very long drive away from the stadium, we finally made it there, right in time for the cougars first touch down.

The cougars getting ready to play. Of course we won, 24 - 14 was the final score.

More Sea World!

We went to the beach before our second day of Sea World and then again the morning we left San Diego to head back towards Las Vegas.

This is Colin's way of staying out of the sun... just bury yourself in the sand and get eaten by the little sand crabs...

Right there in the middle, my parents. The wave behind them is fairly small. Me and Colin spent a lot of time in the water catching the waves and body surfing into shore. And while we were waiting for that perfect wave, I noticed a sea lion swimming past us. I'm glad it wasn't a shark...

Back at Sea World we got to see even more great animals such as this loud sea lion.

Did you know that flamingos get their color from the shrimp they eat?

What can I say, we like to get wet. Except it got really cold towards the end cause our clothes just wouldn't dry... Again, we had a blast and ended Sea World with Shamu Rocks.

Sea World!

Not quite there yet, but in Las Vegas where we spent the night before continuing our drive. And no, we didn't wear matching shirts on purpose...

This is how excited I was to finally be there again, (for the third time that I can actually remember).

Isn't he cute!

Bruce escaped, yikes.

And everyone's favorite, Shamu! The evening show that we watched the second day was even more spectacular than this one, and less splashing.

My dad and husband decided to surprise me with a dolphin encounter at Sea World. Here I am getting ready to become soaked!

That dolphin sure knows how to make a splash.

That's me dancing with the dolphin (or shaking her flipper).

All I can say about it, it was totally awesome!

Rachel's Wedding

Even though I was unable to actually see Rachel and TR get married due to uhm... my own graduation, we were able to go to their reception. They both looked great and happy, just the way your supposed to look on your wedding day. It was a gray evening with a few rainshowers but that didn't seem to bother them too much.

Colin didn't take any picuters at my graduation but at the reception he couldn't put the camera down...

Colin's got some competition... Aaron's pink tie totally mathced my dress, we were the perfect couple =)

TR just helping to cut the cake, not expecting what's to come...

Cake all over his face! Look at Rachel's eyes as she's doing it.

Updates!

Hello everyone!
I'm still alive and doing well here among the snowy mountains of Utah. Quite a few things have happened since my last post: we celebrated our first anniversary with year old cake that tasted really good, I graduated from Brigham Young University, Rachel got married, we went to San Diego and wonderful Sea World and besides having season tickets for BYU's homegames, we drove down to Vegas for a little more football.

Family Campout

I was really excited to be able to go to the yearly Spencer Family Camp out. I missed it last year because I was in Sweden... getting married... Well, this year we went to Jerald and Kathi's cabin in Diamond Fork. It took us a while to get there but the cabin is beautiful and so is everything else around it.

We went on a four wheeler trip and it looks like Colin was having fun.

There's a man made pond not far from the cabin where we went fishing both Friday night and Saturday morning.

I won the fishing competition with this beautiful 19 inch trout.

Camping and More Fishing

The day after our hiking and fishing trip, Colin got the crazy idea of going camping with Drew and Jen, so we did. On Friday night we drove to Scofield and found a great campground, luckily without bears.

Hey dad, if we had a tent like this when we went camping, I wouldn't have minded as much... It even has two rooms, but we decided to share one, just in case the bears decided to come.

I'm just waiting for my food to get done. We ate some yummy tinfoil dinners and warm pies for dessert. Of course we had the traditional s'mores as well.

Drew and Jen enjoying the mosquitoes.

Colin was having a great time, he even gave up Friday night basketball to go camping.

The fishermen at their best.

Jen with her first fish ever.

All for with the catch, mine are the biggest ones.

Hiking and Fishing

One day the two of us just happened to have an afternoon off together, so we drove up Payson Canyon and hiked up to the grotto with this small but pretty waterfall. Afterwards we continued up the canyon until we got to Payson Lakes where we did some fishing and got a lot of fish, but we only kept a few. It felt good to get out and do something together.

Colin decided to hike to the top of the waterfall but I stayed on safer ground.

Our new little friend who seemed to call the falls his home.

Fourth of July

You guys have to admit that the Americans sure knows how to celebrate 4th of July. We started the day of with the parade in Provo and got great seats on the parking lot of our Seven-Eleven.

After only about two hours (shorter parade than usual) in the shade we went over to Payson for a barbecue with the family. It was all very tasty. Me and Colin had tickets for Stadium of Fire that night, and both times I've been, it's been awesome!

Before the show even started there were parachute jumpers, one with a blue. another with a white, the third with a red parachute and then, the stars and stripes. The rocket man was also there and he could really fly, it was almost like the movie. During the opening part, Corbin Blue came out unexpectedly and jumped rope with the jumpers, but then he came back for his awesome performance.

Brooks and Dunn were the main event but it had gotten really dark by then so I was unable to get any good pictures. They sang all the good song, including the song named after me... Then, the whole show concluded with an amazing fireworks show, that lasted for over 20 minutes. It's a cool feeling to sit with fireworks going off right over your head as music is playing, this year it was a Disney medley and the fireworks fit well to the music.

Wedding

Colin's brother Darrin got married to Felice on May 25th. Like most weddings, there was a lot of things to get done and imagine the added stress when the bride is late for her own wedding... Well, what do you expect on a Friday afternoon on Memorial Weekend.

Here's the happy couple only minutes after they were married.

One of the very handsome groomsmen...

What a cute couple! We've been married for 10 months now!

The cake was both tasty and beautiful.

Colin and Drew up to no good. Darrin didn't seem too upset when he saw the art work we had created on his car, but once he got a look at the streamers and confetti inside the car he didn't seem quite as calm...

The triplets getting ready to go down to the church for the luncheon.
