We went to Liseberg, an amusement park, and I don't know who had more fun, Xander or mormor and morfar.

We also took a day and went out to one of the islands outside of Gothenburg. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time (even when we were trying to get a stroller over rocks and through forrests...)

Fishing

The first week in Sweden we were able to borrow a boat and go out fishing one night. We had a good time even though we didn't catch anything. Mormor and Xander stayed at home and relaxed and fishing was quite relaxing for us too. It was a perfect evening and we ended it with some fika on the balcony with a view of the lake.

Birthday Boy!

The first few bites of his cake were a little timid but we pushed some strawberries down into the cake, and Xander loves strawberries and went digging for them. Eventually he went for the cake too.

Alexander had a great birthday. He was happy the whole time, even with all those strangers there. Thank you everyone for helping to make his special day so great!
